You've decided you may be a candidate for yeast. You have enough of the symptoms to stop denying yourself. What next? Step two is to make a commitment to yourself to begin dealing with your yeast problems. Learn what feeds yeast and become conscious of your own cravings. Soon you'll find that the foods you crave are the same foods that feed yeast!
Frustration or resentment may begin to rear its head. Its okay. Give it a moment and then turn that energy into commitment to stop abusing yourself by not feeding your yeast. Take a moment to realize that there are many healthy non-yeast foods that you could be choosing instead. Healing is all about choices. Do you choose to feed your yeast or nurture yourself?
When you begin your yeast diet, there are two ways it can affect you.. you may begin to feel better right away.. or if you are full of toxins, you may feel worse for a few days before you notice improvement. Either way is the right way for you.
As you begin to feel better, you may decide that it won't hurt to cheat a little here and there. And it may not. But it may. This is where you come in because only you know how you truly feel. And after you cheat, if you find that you feel awful, you will at least know what it is that made you this way. And then you can consciously make a decision if it was worth it or not. And you may decide that cheating once in awhile is not so bad. That's okay too. But you may decide that you like feeling good and that's even better! In any case, your healing will rest on your shoulders, and that is exactly where it needs to be.
Within no time at all, you'll find that this diet is one that is easy to follow. For everything you cannot have there is a list of food you can! Eventually, you will learn that you are in charge of how you feel by what you eat. And that's the beauty of this type of healing. It all comes back to being responsible for yourself.
So as you partake this new journey, let yourself know that it is a new adventure.. one that can be a truly enjoyable one. Because the better you feel, the more you'll do and the more you do, the more you'll experience life. And isn't that what we are here to do? Experience life so we can learn more about ourselves. What we like; what we don't like.. one experience after another. At times, it may be the "not so good ones" that are our greatest teachers. The best advice I can give you is sit back and enjoy the journey..

We have been on a candida diet for just over two months, what a ride. I love the information you give and the encouraging words. It has definitively been a ride.
Congratulations.. so happy I can help...
Hi Linda I have been researching candida for months now and just found your candida blog page. It made me feel a little better, thank you. I am a male and I woke up early one morning in March around 3am with the worst stomach/intestine pain ever and a very fast heartbeat. I drank a huge glass of water and it eventually went away. I went to the Dr's and got 3 different blood tests. All my tests came back normal, except my hemogloblin was a bit high. White blood count was normal as well as sodium, potassium, glucose, creatinine and all of that was normal. I also had an STD test, thinking maybe that was it, all came back negative. I have been doing the candida diet for 2 months and I have lost 12lbs, which is too much for me, I weigh 140 now. My big concern is the brain fog/tension feeling in my head. It comes and goes and it can be very uncomfortable but not a painful "headache" uncomfortable. One day I'm fine then the next day it just creeps up. Did you have the brain/head feelings? It's a scary feeling and I just want to feel better. Any advice would be much appreciated! I used to eat 3000 cal now I'm down to 1000 cal and I want my weight back and feel better. It's just hard when nobody else understands.
Much thanks!
K
Dear K: Brain fog can be yeast; it can also be related to a toxic liver. Are you doing any supplements to help detox your system in addition to the diet? Are you making any emotional changes in your life to help enhance your healing?
Healing has many aspects to it. Along with healing the physical body, we have to heal the emotional, mental, spiritual and etheric bodies. This does take time, energy and patience. Once we understand the "art" of healing so to speak, it becomes a much healthier and exciting game. It is much like hide and seek... we hide these old energies, and eventually our body gives us clues as to where they are hidden. Our job is to learn how to find them and then figure out what to do with them. I would be more than happy to try and teach you the art of healing yourself if vibrational healing is something that interests you.
